February 3, 2018, Losing Has Never Felt So Good!

“Set your life one fire.   Seek those who fan your flames.” ~Rumi These 3 ladies lost a total of 12 pounds in one month!   One of them (won’t name no name) hasn’t been coming to class regularly in the past month, but still managed to lose by healthy eating. Also, Sherri, in this 2nd group pic has lost an additional 4 pounds.  I guess my daily nagging text messages are working!!!   Congrats to all the losers!  Nancy

January 27 2018, Never Give Up

January 20, 2018, Challenge Yourself

Bfit ‘Ride or Die’ run club. “Challenge yourself everyday to do better and be better. Remember, growth starts with a decision to move beyond your present circum stances.” ~Robert Tew We had another awesome workout inside the studio(still really cold outside).  Today was special because we got two surprise visits from Robert and Marvin! So we stepped our game up and showed them just how we do at the Fitpit! We lifted heavy.

January 15, 2018, MLK Drum Run 2018

It was a last minute decision to participate in this race but I'm glad we did.   It was freezing cold, cold, cold!  Did I say cold!  But surprisingly all I felt was warmth.   The bands were fantastic, everybody I encountered was happy to be there.  Now this wasn't a high pressure run and really if you ran too fast you'd miss all the great bands that were playing along the course.  All for a great cause too! January 13, 2018, Sonia Has Lost 20 lbs in 4 Months!

Bfit ‘Ride or Die’ Run Club “I think it’s very expensive to not eat healthy. Eating healthy is the only affordable option we have left.” Marcus Samuelsson   I forgot to do a group picture but that’s ok because I really want to highlight this lady right here. Sonia is now down 21 pounds in a little over 4 months. Want to know her secret? Drinking plenty of water and knowing the difference betwee n portion sizes vs. serving sizes. A serving size is a measured amount of food, whereas a portion size is the amount of food YOU choose to eat for a meal or snack. Sonia still treats herself to a glass of wine and even ice cream if she wants, but she always sticks to the recommended serving size. Exercise is a key component in a healthy lifestyle but you shouldn’t be working out like crazy to maintain your weight. Eat smarter. Nancy bfitathleticclub.com

January 6, 2018, Treat yourself

Bfit ‘Ride or Die’ Run Club. “Treat yourself the way you want other people to treat you.” It’s still too cold to be exercising outside so we treated ourselves to an hour and a half workout at the studio.
